To provide a new kitchen extension and link the existing dwelling to a barn, creating additional living and sleeping accommodation.

The Solution

A central concrete staircase was designed as a seamless link to the multiple levels necessary to access both the existing and proposed parts of the dwelling.

Oak construction is used throughout, incorporating several green building techniques such as rainwater harvesting and solar panels.
